Job Description | Responsibility: - Structural design and analysis of propulsion system for satellites - Execution of related fixture design - Execution of assembly and testing Attractiveness: - You can put yourself in cutting-edge development of electrical propulsion system, which is receiving attention these years - You will take part in various phases of satellite's propulsion system, from concept design, to manufacturing, to testing, to operation in the space - This position gives you the bird's-eye view of whole propulsion system, as you will be cooperating with other specialists and solving various problems associated with miniaturization such as weight reduction, ease of assembly, thermal issue. |
Requirement | Must have: - General knowledge about material, structure, processing (cutting especially) - Experience of design and analysis using 3D CAD - Digestion into 2D drawing and negotiation with fabricators Nice to have: - Experience of structural analysis using 3D CAD - Knowledge and experience about vacuum-related work - Knowledge and experience about environmental test on vibration, harshness Soft skills: - Principle-based thinking - Continuous effort to verbalize the idea - Perseverance in tough situation - Proactive planning and commitment to execution - Ability to discuss based on fact and logic free from prejudice |
