Job Description	This is a challenging and important position that allows you to take part not only in the maintenance of existing services, but also in the launch of never-before-seen service utilizing data security technology centered in secret calculation. You will mainly be engaged in the roles below. - Backend development of secret calculation software - New development of 1. middleware that executes secret calculation process (encryption with high functionality including homomorphic encryption), 2. application to make it work with high usability, and 3. cloud infra to serve as a base for them - Design to product development and release of data utilization service that takes advantage of advanced technologies such as secret calculation or federated learning (Recent cases include security service for financial institutes using federated learning) Depending on your experience and preference, you can also be in charge of developing AIOps infrastructure including functions to deploy or manage AI models, method to improve accuracy and robustness of AI models. Tasks include: - Design, implementation and testing of existing product - Planning, design, implementation and testing of new product / service - Development and improvement of DevOps environment to cover from development to service provision - Technology selection for the tasks above. R&D as well as product application of new technology - Development of infrastructure for AI system / AIOps. Design and development of backend web API - Design and development of cloud architecture, and distributed computing environment including hardware, IoT etc. Products to work on: - Secret calculation software that enables inter-corporation data collaboration / computational processing in cryptographic state - Secret calculation software for AI that makes AI model itself usable in cryptographic state - Application development utilizing advanced data security / interfacing technology such as secret calculation or federated learning, as well as AIOps-related technology Technology stack: - Language: Python,GO, Rust, C/C++ - Container: Docker / Kubernetes - 3rd party interface: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Tableau, and so on (more connectors to be developed) - Library: Microsoft SEAL, TFHE, etc. (only listing fully homomorphic encryptions) - ML library: Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, and so on (using OSS depending on project) - Misc.: GitHub, bitbucket, Confluence, Slack
Requirement	■Mandatory skill / experience - System development experience using more than 2 languages: Python (must have) + other backend language such as Java, Go, Rails, PHP - RDB (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLit etc.) or NoSQL - Git, Github or Gitlab - IF or API - Experience developing BtoB service - Experience engaged in all the phases from service planning (requirement definition) to design to implementation to deployment ■Preferred skill / experience - Experience developing web application (backend / frontend) - Experience following new service, software etc. and verifying on your own - Product management or customer interfacing experience - English at engineering / business level - Experience developing system infrastructure in AI or data utilization project - Understanding of data processing or AI algorithm processing pipeline, and understanding of computing cost - Knowledge and experience in AI, statistical machine learning etc. - Experience designing AI model or data management with consideration to MLOps, or experience developing MLOps system - Experience designing and developing AI system using cloud environment such as AWS, Azure ■Soft skills - Ability to think and act flexibly according to the situation - Proactiveness - Respect to others and their different background - Try-first attitude
