Job Description	◆Background We believe that managers responsible for people management will have a huge impact on the organization along the path to further strengthen and expand the foundation of the engineering organization. However, the manager position does not have much systematic know-how, making it difficult to be promoted in an organization with many player-oriented engineer members. The company has more than 10 AI engineers with diverse backgrounds, and is looking for an engineering manager who can bring out their strengths and connect them to business growth. ◆Role in the team You can start as a tech lead to understand the current development process and system, deepen mutual understanding with other members, and transition to people management. ◆Responsibility As an Engineering Manager, you will specifically be responsible for the following tasks: - Management of each team member (mentoring and coaching through 1on1) - Goal setting and evaluation - System design and operation - Strategy formulation for the engineering organization, collaboration with business strategy and product roadmap - Improve organizational performance ◆Business area: - Facility inspection Inspection of social infra / large factory / plant etc. owned by large enterprise or local government - Disaster countermeasure Rapid check of evacuation status and evacuation PR in the event of large-scale disaster without human operation - Security surveillance 24-hour security of wide area in factory / warehouse / harbour - Site management Process automation and advanced information management towards the efficiency improvement of construction site
Requirement	Required - Experience managing a development team of 5 or more people - AI development experience (emphasis on general engineering skills rather than knowledge of specific languages or frameworks) - Knowledge about CI/CD - Experience writing test code Preferred - Experience with agile development (Scrum development, etc.) - Experience managing a machine learning team - Machine learning development experience - Skills related to image processing/image recognition/image analysis - Deep learning/machine learning skills
English Level	Business level preferred
Japanese Level	Business level or higher required (All internal communications, documents, and customer support will be handled in Japanese)
