Job Description | - As a playing manager, you will be responsible for research and development of their in-house developed hybrid thruster i.e. propulsion system for controlled re-entry, and high-thrust propulsion devices for future orbital maneuvers, as well as management of the propulsion system team. - Your duties will also include coordination / R&D management with collaborative research partners (universities, space agencies, etc.). |
Requirement | Required skills: - More than 3 years experience in design and development of the propulsion systems for spacecraft, aircraft, or similar vehicles (including experience as a researcher at university) - Familiarity with design, analysis, and testing of propulsion systems for spacecraft, aircraft, or similar vehicles - Experience in joint research and joint projects with external parties Nice-to-have skills: - Familiarity with the manufacturing of propulsion systems and handling of propellants - Experience in finite element method numerical analysis for fluid dynamics (CFD, CAE) or related modeling (FORTRAN, MATLAB, etc.) - Experience in conducting combustion tests - Experience in setting specifications of thruster parts and its procurement - Experience in handling pressurized components (pressure vessels, valves, pipes, regulators, etc.) - Qualifications such as high-pressure gas production safety manager, explosives handling safety manager, etc. - Team management experience - Experience in managing joint research or joint projects involving multiple companies / universities Soft skills: - Sympathy with the company's mission of "creating a world where everyone can live in space and enriching the future of humanity" - Ability to think and act independently in a startup at its early stage - Humbleness, consistent learning and growing - Not hesitant to communicate in English both inside and outside the company - Active involvement in new technology development - Experience in developing spacecraft and reusable space systems - Experience in development at a startup |
