Job Description | You will be engaged in research and development related to the mechanisms, structures, and lubrication of spacecraft such as satellites and atmospheric entry systems, and their on-board components. Specifically, you will be responsible for planning the manufacturing, processing, assembly, testing, and inspection processes of satellite parts, implementing the manufacturing, processing, assembly, testing, and inspection of parts and compiling the results, as well as maintaining manufacturing, testing, and assembly facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for the mechanisms and structures of the experimental vehicle currently under development, its successor (business vehicle), as well as satellite systems, on-board capsules, propulsion systems, etc. developed by the company. |
Requirement | Required skills: - Practical experience in mechanical design related to the mechanism, structure, and lubrication of mechanical systems including moving parts (5 years or more) - Practical experience in numerical analysis such as structural analysis, strength analysis, and response analysis of mechanical systems, and evaluation tests such as material testing, strength testing, and environmental testing (5 years or more) - Practical experience in vendor control including manufacturing and assembly in cooperation with machine processing manufacturers (3 years or more) Nice-to-have skills: - Experience in mechanical and structural design of spacecraft such as artificial satellites and probes, and spacecraft components - Experience in designing and manufacturing moving mechanisms that do not use lubricants such as oil-less bearings - Experience in dynamic analysis using ADAMS, etc. (including multi-body dynamics) - Experience in designing and manufacturing large deployable structures and deployment and storage mechanisms - Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing using non-metallic materials, composite materials, and special materials - Experience in optimal design and manufacturing using 3D printers Soft skills: - Sympathy with the company's mission of "creating a world where everyone can live in space and enriching the future of humanity" - Ability to think and act independently in a startup at its early stage - Humbleness, consistent learning and growing - Not hesitant to communicate in English both inside and outside the company - Active involvement in new technology development - Experience in developing spacecraft and reusable space systems - Experience in development at a startup |
