Job Description - Lead and project management of floating body development work for floating offshore wind power generation (basic design, detailed design and manufacturing)
- Organizing floating body design requirements at each design phase
- Supporting analysis execution (floating body motion analysis, mooring analysis, structural analysis) and reviewing analysis results, providing feedback to the design
(*The analysis itself is performed by another department or an external contractor)
- Discussions and coordination with wind turbine design teams and external contractors
- Responding to design and manufacturing reviews by third-party organizations
Requirement Required
- Experience in designing ships and marine structures, or designers of large steel structures such as onshore wind power generation foundations

- Abundant experience in designing and developing marine structures
- Experience in floating body motion, load analysis, and structural analysis
- Experience in basic design of ships and marine structures, and experience in design management of partner companies
- Wide range of knowledge to solve problems in order to realize new concept products
- Experience in handling design and manufacturing reviews by third-party organizations
- Knowledge regarding the manufacturing of steel structures
English Level Nice to have
Japanese Level Business level or higher preferred
