【AMR】Sales Engineer【For Logistics & MFG】

Location Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa-ken
Company An AMR startup founded by a former automotive AD tech lead.
Owns products such as autonomous transport robot that can switch between AGV mode on trajectory and autonomous mode without pre-defined trajectory, general purpose towing solution for 3rd party trolleys, and fleet management system.
Since the product's release in 2022, sales have been steadily increasing.

Job Description - Through customer visits and communication with sales representatives, understand customers' on-site operations and the challenges they face, and devise solutions that the company can offer.
- Through communication with product and technical staff, organize the content that the company can provide and incorporate it into proposals.
- After creating the solution, conduct simulations to verify feasibility.
- Gather internal knowledge to create project specifications and reflect them in proposals.
- Organize customer needs as technical requirements and lead to orders through solution proposals. Also provide feedback on customer needs to internal stakeholders such as product staff.
Requirement [Required]
- Those who have any of the following experience and skills:
-- Technical experience in software, machinery, etc. or technical sales experience
-- Experience in creating requirement definitions and customer proposals in automation, robotics, or FA industries
-- Technical work experience in automation, robotics, or FA industries, or experience in implementing and utilizing such products
-- Experience in production technology and manufacturing technology in the logistics and manufacturing industries and want to try their hand at sales by utilizing their technical knowledge
-- Experience proposing solutions based on issue hearings
-- Experience achieving concrete results in proposal-based sales or client-facing work
-- Experience in creating proposals based on quantitative information such as estimated RoI and efficiency

- Communication skills in Japanese (A level where you can deeply understand customer needs and make appropriate proposals)

[Preferred]
- Understanding both technical and business aspects
- Experience visiting the site and converting abstract on-site issues into concrete measures and implementing them
- Customer technical evaluation and verification of various new products and solutions
- Working with sales and engineering departments to make proposals for orders, such as demos
- Strengthening relationships with existing partners to expand business
- Ability to explain in simple terms that even those without technology knowledge, such as management and business departments, can understand
- Communication skills that allow you to get customers and related parties in the company involved and get the job done
- Motivation to actively learn new technologies and business skills
- Business-level English conversation and writing/reading skills
