Job Description - Communicate with sales members about necessary information such as order angle and delivery time, formulate a production plan, and promote the production plan while coordinating with each supplier.
- Deliver hardware products in cooperation with customers (aquaculture businesses) and logistics companies.
- Understand product issues from customer feedback after product introduction and repair/maintenance data, and work with in-house engineers and suppliers to resolve issues and reflect them in the product.
- Responsible for improving existing products and designing and developing products with new specifications.

[Background for hiring]
Demand for the company's main product, smart feeder, is growing rapidly, and the importance of the production management system from order to delivery is increasing. In addition, we would like to strengthen our efforts to improve our products by receiving feedback from the production site after delivery and working with suppliers to make improvements.
The company is updating hardware products with a sense of speed, and is also introducing products with new specifications, so we are looking for a hardware engineer who can handle design and development.
Requirement [Required conditions]
- Interest in solving problems at aquaculture sites and empathy with the company's mission and values
- Experience in design improvement or design development based on customer requests (circuit design or mechanical design)
- Good at planning and steadily coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Enjoy communicating both inside and outside the company
- Ability to smoothly communicate with internal and external stakeholders (face-to-face, telephone, Slack, LINE, etc.)
- Ability to travel to various parts of Japan
- Driver's license and able to actually drive

[Preferred conditions]
- Experience in production planning and coordinating and negotiating with external suppliers
- Experience working at manufacturing and construction sites
- Experience in installing products and adjusting and improving them on site
- Enjoyment of proactively manufacturing and prototyping
- Product manager experience
- Team management experience
- Completion of academic studies and research experience in the field of biology
English Level [Preferred]
Ablility to communicate in meetings
- Able to ask questions and express opinions and thoughts in English in a meeting with native English speakers with the support of participants in areas of your knowledge. Grammar accuracy is not required.
Japanese Level [Reqiured]
Upper business level
- Able to ask questions and express opinions in Japanese without grammatical issues, facilitate, give presentations, and negotiate in meetings attended by native Japanese speakers, regardless of whether they are familiar with the field or not.
