You will be in charge of system development related to AI / data utilization, such as secure data collection and management, AI model management and AI analysis, or other AIOps-related system. It is essential to design and develop reliable and scalable cloud architecture as we deal with data from industries like finance (bank, securities), manufacturing (factory), logistics (warehouse), or retail. With customers in manufacturing, work scope will extend to overall architecture design including local facilities, IoT, distributed computing environment, as well as design and implementation of scalable WebAPI. You will be leading technology selection to model development / implementation for projects such as implementation verification based on SOTA technology and papers, or client-driven AI development, while collaborating with project manager and engineers. This is a challenging and important position that allows you to take part not only in the maintenance of existing services, but also in the launch of never-before-seen service utilizing data security technology centered in secret calculation. You will mainly be engaged in the roles below. - Backend development of secret calculation software - New development of 1. middleware that executes secret calculation process (encryption with high functionality including homomorphic encryption), 2. application to make it work with high usability, and 3. cloud infra to serve as a base for them - Design to product development and release of data utilization service that takes advantage of advanced technologies such as secret calculation or federated learning (Recent cases include security service for financial institutes using federated learning) Depending on your experience and preference, you can also be in charge of developing AIOps infrastructure including functions to deploy or manage AI models, method to improve accuracy and robustness of AI models. Tasks include: - Design, implementation and testing of existing product - Planning, design, implementation and testing of new product / service - Development and improvement of DevOps environment to cover from development to service provision - Technology selection for the tasks above. Images are the core of the company's earth observation platform, and as a software engineer you will work to enable their client's success by making sure the hiring company can provide this data reliably and with minimal latency. They are looking for a person with strong technical skills in Software Development and Cloud Computing. As a member of the Data Team, your mission is to develop, monitor and optimize the distributed systems that form the data pipeline, which processes the raw images received from the satellites into the final products that they deliver to clients in the earth observation platform.
